This little red tractor — and the way it lets you farm — makes farming viable again.
50 acres. 4 farmers. 150,000 lbs of food. One community equipment package.
The equipment industry was designed for 2,000-acre commodity farms. If you're farming 50 acres of vegetables, you've been an afterthought — until now.
Proprietary software locks you out of your own tractor. A $20 sensor fails and you wait 5-7 days for a dealer service call that costs $300+. John Deere's diagnostic tools cost $20,000 — and only dealers have them.
$86K lifetime cost over 10 yearsYour neighbor farms 2,000 acres with commodity subsidies and volume discounts. You farm 50. The game is rigged — but there's a different game where you win: revenue per acre instead of total acres.
$800/acre corn vs $10,000+/acre vegetablesEvery pass with heavy, conventional equipment compacts the soil you're trying to heal. You see the organic matter declining, the earthworms disappearing. Your land is degenerating and the equipment isn't helping.
Topsoil lost 50% of organic matter in 100 yearsDad and the uncles all farm conventional. The equipment dealer doesn't understand your small diversified operation. There's no community of people farming the way you want to farm. You feel like the only one.
You're not alone. There are thousands like you.Think about how vineyards transform family farms. Nobody argues with grandpa — they just take a few acres, grow something different, and let the results speak for themselves.
Higher revenue per acre. Lower costs. Soil samples trending in the right direction. A tractor platform and community that encourages innovation and rewards the farmers leading the way. That's the vision.
Don't convert the whole farm. Take 10-20 acres and grow high-value diversified crops. Show what's possible.
A tractor built for precision vegetable farming — belly-mount capability, infinite speed control, completely repairable with basic tools.

Revenue per acre up. Soil health improving. Costs down. The family farm isn't just surviving — it's thriving.

I was market gardening with hand tools. Too much labour. I needed mechanization, but the equipment was a barrier — too expensive, too complex, designed for a different kind of farming altogether.
I looked over at my neighbor growing 200 acres of corn and knew I wasn't interested in that path. So I figured out a community tractor — a different way to look at equipment on a farm and how to grow and market food locally.
We partnered with master craftsmen in Ontario who build things to last generations, not to be replaced every 5 years. We chose a Honda engine because when something needs fixing, any mechanic on earth can help. And we built a community around it, because no farmer should have to figure it all out alone.
Little Red Tractors isn't really a tractor company. It's a community infrastructure company. The tractor is just how people join our village.
